Lifted and intense cherry and red & blackberry fruits dominate the bouquet. Ripe and rich in flavour, the mixed fruits and some earthy notes are framed by fine tannins that are well integrated. The decomposed red volcanic soils over limestone contribute to the classical Coonawarra flavour profile which adds further richness and complexity to the wine. This is a classic Coonawarra Merlot, intense, ripe and balanced with persistent fruit and varietal character.
